Fatima Tate Takes The Cake won 1st place in the National Federation of Press Women's 2024 Communications contest in the Young Adult fiction category, at their June 2024 conference.
It qualified for the National contest after winning 1st place at the NM Press Women's state-level contest in March 2024.
